We have been blessed with not just one son, but two! Yes two, doubly blessed!
"All children come from God, for some the journey home just takes a little longer."
Hi Heather- I was wondering if you would be willing to send me your email address. I wanted to ask you a few questions about adopting a little bit older child (3-5). Just collecting info. :)
Hi...I am currently adopting with AGCI...and I would love to ask you questions...I think we live close...near Tanner's. I recognize the ship in the pic. What a small world...to be blog searching and find it.http://ourjourneyjohn1418.blogspot.com/
Our family is on one awesome journey! God is so amazing, and so much bigger than us. Although we have brought our TWO sons home from Ethiopia, our journey is really just beginning. Our journey of paperwork and waiting is over, but our journey of enjoying these two gifts is just beginning! We are a family that is blessed beyond measure, and we are honored to have the opportunity to love and cherish our little men! John and I have been married for 19 years and have been blessed to call four beautiful girls, "daughter." Our oldest Erica, 19, is currently a sophmore in college, Alison, 14, is a freshman in high school, Elaina, 11, is in the 5th grade, and Amelia, 2, stays home and takes care of her mommy;) We are now parents to six amazing children as God has given us two perfect brown eyed little boys to call "son." Eyob, 4, has the sweetest spirit and is so full of life and Abel, 8 months, is a pure joy and loves to be on the go. Follow our journey as we discover our new family!
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows' in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27
proverbs 16:9 - god is in control
"In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."
hebrews 10:23
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."
isaiah 1:17
"learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the opressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow."
habakkuk 2:3
"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day."
